Linda is a
graduate of the University of Georgia with a masters
degree in Social Work. She is a Licensed Clinical
Social Worker, Certified Hypnotherapist, and is
Certified as a HypnoBirthing Childbirth Educator.
She has 22 years of experience with public
non-profit agencies where she has gained expertise
in the fields of Mental Health, Substance Abuse and
Sexual Assault. She has held numerous positions as
a clinician and on management teams for over 20
years. She was a member of the executive team of
The Gwinnett/Rockdale/Newton Community Service Board
for approximately 6 years (1999-2006) and managed
multiple programs. Currently, she is the Counseling
Coordinator at the Gwinnett Sexual Assault Center
and Care Management Coordinator at the DeKalb
Community Service Board in Decatur. She has a
strong clinical and training background and has
trained licensed professionals in Motivational
Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and
Ethics for many years. She currently provides
supervision to clinical staff seeking licensure and
has done this for 8 years. She is a level II Eye
Movement & Desensitization (EMDR) Therapist. She
has her own private practice in Roswell, Georgia.
